Son of Charles and Dorothy Unger (nee Elower). Devoted husband to Ann M. Unger and devoted Father to Victoria, Michael and Brittany Unger. Devoted Grandfather to Emmerson Cook and Callan Hopkins. Loving brother to Patricia Phillips and Steven Cutsail and his wife Rachel. Loving Uncle to Samantha Phillips and Paige Schade. Devoted friend to ex-wife Cassandra Cook. Loving friend to Mark Phoebus, Richard Thorn and Cathy Thorn.

24 year Retired Veteran in the MDARNG. Devoted to his American Legion Post 38 as well as District Officer and Department Member. Loved serving the Veterans and in his Community.

There will be a Celebration of his life at the American Legion Post 38 in Dundalk, 3300 Dundalk Avenue, on 10 December 2023 from 1-6pm.
