Milton E. Wilhelm

Milton E. Wilhelm passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born on June 13, 1943, in MD, to the late William Wilhelm Sr. and late Catherine Wilhelm.

Milton began his career as a laborer at Western Electric, where he dedicated many years of hard work and commitment.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Milton served his country with honor and pride in the Army. He enlisted on July 10, 1967, and was discharged on July 9, 1973, holding the rank of E4.

Milton was a cherished brother to Gerard Wilhelm and his wife Mary Jo and William Wilhelm Jr. and his wife Kate. He also mourned the passing of his late sister Cathy Spath and her late husband Albert.

He was an uncle to a host of nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. Jessica Rader and her husband Michael, Rebecca Thiegs and her husband Eric, Sean Wilhelm and his wife Sarah, Krista Grant and her husband Ryan, Chelsea Morton and her husband Jeffrey stood among the lucky ones who experienced Milton's affection and guidance. Milton also mourned the loss of his niece Tricia Sneft and her late husband Charles.

His memory will live on through the generations, as he is survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of loving family members. Milton's kind heart and genuine spirit will forever be etched in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on February 1, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 pm at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road. A Memorial Service to celebrate Milton's life will be led by Father Bill Quigley on February 2, 2024, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with an interment to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.

In Milton's honor, donations to International Rett Syndrome Foundation  in honor of his great niece, Morgan Grant, would be greatly appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.

May the memories of Milton E. Wilhelm serve as a beacon of love and inspiration to those he left behind. He will be deeply missed and always remembered.
