It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Lee McKinney, age 94, on December 19, 2025, in Joppa, Maryland. Born on September 17, 1931, in Pennsylvania, Nancy was the cherished daughter of Mark and Thelma Brookman. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Wade H. McKinney, and a loving mother to her son, Wade McKinney Jr., and daughter, Sue McKinney.

Nancy's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love for her family and a relentless passion for nurturing the relationships around her. She was known for her green thumb and had a lifelong love for gardening, finding solace among her blooms and blossoms. Shopping was another joy of hers, but her greatest pleasure was spending cherished moments with her family.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through her beloved grandchildren: Michael Colbert, Michele McKinney, Scott McKinney, and Christopher McKinney. Her pride only grew with the addition of her great-grandchildren: Ashton, A.J., David, Steven, Sean, Erin, Tyler, Lily, Emily, and Tristan; as well as her great-great-grandchild, Carson Cassidy. Each of them carried a spark of her spirit, a testament to the love she so freely gave.

To celebrate her life and the warmth she brought to all who knew her, a public viewing will take place at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on December 22, 2025 from 3-6 pm. The following day, December 23, 2025, a funeral service will be held at the same location at 1:00 PM, where friends and family will gather to honor Nancy's remarkable life. She will be laid to rest at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.

Nancy Lee McKinney's presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her journey to the heavens be peaceful, and may we forever cherish the joyful moments we shared with her.
