Nicholas Ricci Sr., a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on August 11, 1932, in Washington D.C.
Nicholas was known for his unwavering faith, his gentle spirit, and his dedication to his family. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-1956. After his service, he dedicated 20 years as a caretaker at Federal Hill, where he found joy in caring for the community.
He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Garnitta Ricci, and is survived by his beloved children: Katherine Moran (husband Sean), James Ricci, Tina Ricci and his late sons Nicholas and Joseph Ricci. He took great pride in his role as a grandfather to Joseph Ricci Jr., Mario Ricci, Keith Galeano, and Christian Emmons. Doting great-grandfather to Kenzie Ricci, Dominic Ricci, Nicholas Galeano, and Delilah Galeano.
To celebrate his life, a public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Monday July 27, 2026 from 3:00-7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Tuesday July 28th at 10:00 am, followed by a Graveside Service at Glen Haven Memorial Park. 7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, 21061.
