In Loving Memory of Nora L. Kelch

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nora L. Kelch on November 28, 2023, at the age of 72. Nora was born on September 7, 1951, in Georgia to her beloved parents Bettie Lanham and the late Albert Michael Anderson.

Nora found joy in the simple pleasures of life, with a particular love for indulging in the deliciousness of savory crab legs. She enjoyed the thrill of playing slots at the casino, sometimes striking lucky and celebrating her wins with a triumphant cheer. Beyond life's pleasures, she embarked on a fulfilling career at Domino Sugar, where she dedicated her time and skills. Her hard work and commitment shone brightly throughout her years of service.

Animals held a special place in Nora's heart, and she shared her home with many furry companions throughout the years. Her unconditional love and care knew no bounds, as she nurtured and cherished her dogs and cats, giving them a warm and comfortable life.

Nora's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her beloved spouse Douglas McVicker, mother Bettie Lanham (nee Hames) and her husband Robert Lanham as well as her siblings, Susan Shanklin (and husband Rick), Janet Potter (and late husband Don), Anthony Anderson Sr. (and wife Missy), as well as her sister-in-law Diane Anderson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Michael Anderson Jr. Nora also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her playful nature and the love she showered upon them.

As we come together to honor Nora's life and mourn her loss, funeral services will be held on December 4, 2023. Visitation will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk from 10AM-12PM, providing an opportunity for friends and family members to pay their last respects. Following the viewing, a Funeral Service will commence at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nora's memory may be made to the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
