It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Lewis Shaw, who left us peacefully on July 12, 2026, at the age of 56. Paul was born on June 19, 1970, in New Jersey.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Roxann Shaw, and their children: Paul Shaw Jr., Abdul Ellis, Anthea Shaw, Michael Gunther (wife Tiana), Victoria Sanford (husband Greg), Jarod Gunther, and Lisa Hamwright (husband Lamont). Paul was a proud grandfather to 17 grandchildren, who brought endless joy to his life. He will be dearly missed by his sisters, LaVonne Williams (husband Stanley), Waheedah Collins (husband Ray), and Syreetah Wright (husband Bobby), as well as his niece, Tatyana Jefferson, and many other family members and friends who held him dear.

We invite everyone who knew and loved Paul to celebrate his life with us. A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Sunday July 26, 2026, from 1:00-3:45 pm. A funeral service will take place at 3:45 pm followed by Time to Share from 4:00-6:00 pm. For those unable to attend in person, we will be livestreaming the service through social media platforms, so you can join us in honoring Paul from afar. We will gather at Oak Lawn Cemetery for a graveside service on Monday July 27, 2026, at 1:00 pm, where Paul will be laid to rest.
