Phyllisann Hosgood, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born on July 14, 1947, in Maryland, to the late Anthony and Noralee Swieczkowski.
Phyllisann was the beloved wife of the late Leroy Hosgood. She is survived by her two cherished daughters, Phyllisann Lyle and her husband Ronald, and Mylindaann Klein. She took great joy in her grandchildren, Gabrielle Lawton and her husband Rush, Gavin Cook and his wife Stephanie, Gara Padilla and her husband Marvin, and Gates Cook. Her heart was further filled with love for her three great-grandchildren, Seph, Carter, and Sylas, who brought her endless joy.
She is also survived by her brother Leroy Swieczkowski and his wife Melissa, his brother-in-law Henry Hosgood as well as numerous loving family members and friends. Phyllisann was preceded in death by her brothers James, William, and Richard Swieczkowski.
In honor of her life, family and friends will gather for a public viewing on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road,from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Following the service, Phyllisann will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, 7401 German Hill Road.
Phyllisann will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, generosity, and devotion to her family. She created a lasting legacy of love that will be carried on through her children and grandchildren. Those who knew her will forever cherish her memory.
