IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard L.
Cox
July 22, 1955 – December 1, 2025
Richard "Crazy Richard" Cox went home to Jesus on December 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of loyalty, laughter, and unmistakable spirit. Richard lived his life with the throttle wide open. He was always moving, always helping, and always loving fiercely.
A proud member of the Hogs and Heroes Foundation, Richard found purpose and brotherhood among fellow riders dedicated to supporting military, public safety, and first-responder communities, with deep fellowship and often enjoying ice cream together. Riding was one of the greatest joys of his life, and the open road was where he felt most free.
Richard was preceded in death earlier this year by his beloved brother and best friend, Kevin Cox. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy, whom he loved more deeply than anything in this world. In his final days, Richard often spoke of wanting to "go home," and that equally meant going home to Jesus and returning to his peaceful mountain home in Gettysburg.
He is also survived by his sister, Linda; his two brothers, Chucky and Tommy; and his stepsons Paul (Sandra) and Tom (Jessica). "Crazy Richard" cherished his many grandchildren, each of whom brought him joy, pride, and plenty of stories to share.
A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Friday December 5, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 pm. Followed by a funeral service at 7:30 pm.
Richard's life was marked by courage, loyalty, humor, and heart. He leaves behind countless memories, roaring engines, and the love of all who were lucky enough to ride beside him.
May he rest easy and ride free forever.
Donations can be made in the name of Crazy Richard to the Hogs and Heroes Foundation.
