It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Lee Jerscheid Jr., who left us peacefully on October 1, 2026, at the age of 57. Born on March 31, 1969, in Maryland.

Richard was loved by his fiancee Tatjana Pickett. He was a devoted father to Mackenzie Jerscheid and Eric Pickett. Richard will be greatly missed by his siblings, James Jerscheid (wife Stacy) and Lisa Bennett. He also leaves behind his late brother, Brian Jerscheid, and a host of loving nieces and nephews-Bradley, Brittney, Brandon, Breanna, and Brayden-along with his great-niece, Briella.

Known for his cooking skills, Richard loved gathering with family for home-cooked meals and outdoor grilling. His vibrant personality shone through during family events and outings, bringing everyone together. He was a huge fan of wrestling and a talented DJ for over 15 years, spinning tunes that kept the party alive.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time.

His spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest in peace, Richard. You will be deeply missed.
