It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard H. Schneider, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left this world on January 2, 2026, at the age of 80.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Darlene Schneider; their children, David Schneider and his wife Debra, and Steve Schneider; and his cherished grandchild, Joshua Schneider. Richard also leaves behind his dear sister, Susan Arrington, and her husband, Duke, as well as nephews Jason and Kirk Arrington, who will deeply miss him.

Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Army. His commitment to his country reflected his strong character and sense of duty. After his honorable discharge, he worked at Bethlehem Steel.

A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 6:30 PM at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, where family and friends will gather to pay their respects and celebrate Richard's life.

Richard's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his compassion for others, and his remarkable spirit. May he rest in peace.
