Robert Burch

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Robert (known as "Bob") Frank Burch on June 22, 2025, followed by his wife Cora Marie Burch (nee Transparenti) on June 25, 2025. Born and raised in Baltimore Maryland, both Bob and Cora spent 50 years married to each other surrounded by friends and family throughout the years.

Bob and Cora were loving parents to their children Matthew Burch and Maria Hughes (nee Burch) and their dog, Hershey. As devoted grandparents, Bob and Cora's joy knew no bounds as they spent time with their grandchildren Benjamin Burch, Lorelei Hughes, Giovanna Hughes, and Isaac Hughes. Bob and Cora also deeply cherished their daughter-in-law, Melissa Borkowski Burch, who was like a daughter to them, and loved Shannon Campisi like one of their own. Cora leaves behind a loving sister, Diane Wegerski (nee Transparenti) and her husband Stanley Wegerski, while Bob leaves behind a loving brother, Lawrence Burch. Bob and Cora also cherished their nieces and nephews, Andrew Wegerski and Michelle Burch, along with cousins Lori Margolis and Michael Isennock, children of Mary and James Isennock.

Cora was known for her warm heart, blunt honesty, and a fierce and lively spirit that made everyone around her laugh and feel alive. Bob was a devout soul known for his gentle compassion and generous spirit that made all feel like family. Both Bob and Cora were fans of rock 'n roll music, in love with the desert, and enjoyed trips to the beach. They believed that pets were family too and always put the needs of their loved ones first.

A private service will be held on Saturday August 09, 2025, at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Bob and Cora's legacy of compassion, infinite generosity, and unwavering love for their family will be deeply missed by all who knew them.
