Robert Bernard Sann, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 90. Born on June 14, 1933 in Highland Town, he was the son of William and Catherine Sann.
Robert, known to his loved ones as Bob, led a fulfilling life enriched with love, laughter, and cherished memories. After graduating from Patterson Park High School, was a member of the varsity baseball team, he pursued a career as a foreman in the steel industry, where he dedicated several years of his life. His commitment and hard work earned him the respect of his colleagues and peers.
In addition to his professional achievements, Bob held a special place in his heart for his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Sann, his parents, William and Catherine Sann, his brother, William Sann Jr., his sister, Shirley Beamesderfer, Maureen Clubb, and niece, Kathleen Riley.

In his leisure time, Bob found joy in the companionship of his loyal dogs, with whom he shared countless treasured moments. He had a zest for life and delighted in embarking on cruises and bus trips, including thrilling visits to Delaware Park for a little gambling. His favorite getaway, however, was his home in beautiful Ocean City, Maryland, where he basked in the serenity of the beach and created everlasting memories.
A proud Army veteran during the Korean War conflict, Bob served his country with honor and distinction. Enlisting on May 28, 1953, he dedicated two years to his military service before being honorably discharged as a Private First Class on May 23, 1955.
