Roland Franklin Smith, 91, of Palm Coast, FL passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of February 10, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Smith (Cooper); his stepdaughter, Virginia Dale Fox (Barnhill); his stepson, Ted Tracy Barnhill; his stepdaughter, Joyce Dicembre (Barnhill); and his grandson, Austin Ross.

He is survived by his daughters, Jeanette Muth (Smith) and Joann Nikolaides (Smith); his adopted daughter, Amy Salas (Smith); his stepchildren, Daniel Barnhill and David Barnhill; and his many grandchildren.

In honoring his life, a public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at the same location. The graveside service will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
