Rosario Anthony Ferrara

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosario "Sonny" Ferrara, who left us peacefully on April 23, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on April 21, 1938, in Maryland.

Rosario was preceded in death by his beloved wife Cecilia (née Maggio) Ferrara. Loving father to Michael Ferrara (wife Patricia), Joseph Ferrara (wife Josephine), Mary Koluch (husband Kevin), and Susan Stankiewicz (husband Richard). Rosario was also a proud grandfather to Michael Ferrara Jr. (wife Rachel), Julianna Hasting (husband Bobby), Nicole Ferrara, Amy Jones, Frank Koluch, Samantha Rickell (husband Dave), Nicholas Jones, Richard Stankiewicz Jr. (wife Desiree), and Matthew Stankiewicz (wife Sude). Doting great-grandfather to Jasra, Amelia, Noah, Darlene, Daisey, Hunter, and Grant. He is further survived by his sister Rosemarie Barile and missed by his late brothers Vincent and Nicholas Ferrara.

A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Thursday April 30, 2026, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm.
