Ruth Hagy-Robinson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Hagy, who departed this life peacefully on May 9, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on August 18, 1939, in Virginia, Ruth spent her later years in Baltimore, Maryland, where she created a warm and loving home filled with laughter and kindness.

Ruth was a devoted wife to the late Frank Robinson and a caring mother to her children, Tracie Baxter and her husband Chris, Pete Hagy, Cheryl Hagy and Bessie McIlvoy. She held a special place in her heart for her late daughters, Vicki Faith, Carole Hagy, and Sara Passaquindici, cherishing the memories they created together. Her family was her pride and joy; Ruth was the beloved grandmother of Stephen, Samantha, Kirstan, Ryan, Youngman, Catrina, Marleana, Jade, Mandi, Rebecca, Garret, and Jacob. She was the adoring great-grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren. Each of them carried a piece of her spirit and love.

Ruth's professional life was marked by her devotion to banking and finance, working at Accounts Receivable, where she exhibited a commitment and passion that earned her respect and admiration. She was known for her integrity, hard work, and the personal connections she made along the way.

Ruth is also survived by Hazel Jones (late husband, Bronson) and the late Nita Moon and her late husband Jim Moon, who, along with her extended family, will carry her memory forward. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength that will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends will gather to honor Ruth's life and legacy. A public viewing will take place at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on May 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing loved ones to share their memories and celebrate her life. This will be followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Ruth will be laid to rest at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens following the service.

In this time of sorrow, let us come together to remember Ruth not just for her departure but for the profound impact she had on our lives. She will be missed dearly and remembered fondly.
