It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley A. (Candy) Mallory, 66, who died peacefully in her sleep on February 19, 2024, after a long battle with lung cancer.

In addition to her parents, Lester F and Cora E Wetzel, Shirley was predeceased by her brothers Lester F. Wetzel, Thomas F. Wetzel, Robert R. Wetzel, Sisters Pat Koski, Sherry Deickman, Coralee Berganback, Delores Hass, Susie Hack, and Nancy Griffitt. Shirley is survived by her brother, Robert L.Wetzel, sister in law Ruth, Nieces and nephews: Michelle and Dennis Sprecher, Robin and Chuck Bruzdzinski, Shirley Wetzel and Manny Robinson. She was also survived by 6 great nieces and nephews: Carlos, Garrett, Daniel, Carmyn, Cora and Carmelo.

Shirley, who was also known as Candy was born July 11, 1957. She spent her childhood and adult life in Edgemere, Maryland.

She retired from Cintas Corporation after 31 years of service.

She loved the Baltimore Ravens, and frogs. She loved spending time outdoors camping, and working in her yard. Her greatest love was for her family and friends especially her 6 great nieces and nephews.

Candy's passing has definitely left a void that can never be filled but her memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her for eternity.
