Shirley Shaffer

Shirley Jane Wise Shaffer passed away on May 20, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved daughter of the late George L. Wise Sr. and Madolyn Jane Wise and loving wife of Paul Shaffer III- she was sister to Mildred Marian Green and aunt to Christina Green. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Timothy C. May, (his wife Yvonne M. May), Lynn M. McDaniels (her partner Richard H. Abbotts Jr.), William J. May Sr. and Bryan May. She also reluctantly leaves behind her grandchildren: Janet M. Berkeley, Susan M. Wagner, Melinda S. McDaniels, Nafiz L. Alqasem, Brandi Poling, Rachel May, William May Jr., Ashley Hay and Morgan Hay and her 14 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed doting on and vacationing with her family and will be remembered for her strong opinions and ready laugh.

The viewings will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk- 7110 Sollers Point Road on Thursday, May 23, 2024 between 2:00- 4:00 PM and 6:00- 8:00 PM and a Memorial Gathering will be held at the same site to celebrate Shirley's Life on Friday 24, 2024 at 12:00 PM. Graveside services will commence immediately following at Oak Lawn Cemetery- 7225 Eastern Ave. Baltimore, MD. 21224.
