Shirley Currier Straka's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley C Straka to Heaven on April 30, 2026. Shirley was born on November 12, 1935 to Irving and Esther Currier, who predeceased her.
Survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Frank P Straka Jr, son Kevin P Straka and wife Gabriele Straka. Also her cherished Granddaughter Heidi M Birdsong and her husband Benjamin Birdsong.
Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her precious daughter Paula M Straka.
Shirley was mainly a homemaker, but previously worked at Western Electric, Grange Elementary as a substitute teacher and a church secretary at Dundalk Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service in honor of Shirley's life will be held May 23rd at 11:00 AM at Dundalk Presbyterian Church, 1973 Merritt Blvd, Dundalk Maryland 21222.
