Walter Frank Szewczyk

On August 9th 2022, Walter F. "Vadgue" Szewczyk passed away. He was the Beloved husband of I. Evelyn Szewczyk (Berdine), Loving father of Karen L. Combs and her husband David and Edward M. Szewczyk and his wife Brandy. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas Ryals and his wife Victoria, Amanda Szewczyk, Ashley Szewczyk, Hilary Szewczyk, Emily Danielson and her husband Seth, Amy McQuaid and her husband John, and Kendall Szewczyk, and great-grandfather to 13 great-grandchildren. 

Walter is also the beloved brother of the late Laura Paskowski, Joseph Szewczyk, Edward Szewczyk, Lillian Stabile, Chester Szewczyk, Jenny Rollin, Teddy Szewczyk, Melvin Szewczyk, and Henry Szewczyk and son of the late Anna and Mihail Szewczyk. 

The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A service to celebrate Walter's life will be held on Saturday, 10:30 am, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
