William E. Deeds

Our beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother and son, William E. Deeds, age 80, returned to his heavenly home on Friday, January 15, 2021. Bill, as he mostly went by, was born to Irvin and Myrtle Deeds, on October 30, 1940. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in March 1969. Bill lived his entire life in Maryland and was an avid sports fan, most notably of his Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens, and loved listening to the golden oldies.

Bill is predeceased by his beloved wife, Toni Deeds, and survived by his son, Brian Deeds and his wife, Margaret (of New Jersey); daughter, JoAnn Folk and her husband, Jim Folk (of Maryland), and daughter, Chris Rehak (of Maryland). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Madelyn Deeds & Bradley Deeds (NJ), Michelle Mitchell (MD) and Lyndsay Rehak (MD). He was also a devoted brother to sister, Betty Hoerner and her husband, Robert, brother, Robert Deeds, half-brother, Gary Hobgen and brother, Richard Deeds, who all predeceased him.

He is survived by his sister, Pat Lane and husband Delmas, sister Linda Smith and husband Hugh and sister Carol Deeds Mayeski (and late husband, Richard Mayeski), as well as other friends and family members.

Out of an abundance of caution and safety for those wishing to pay their respects, there will be a graveside ceremony held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, 7401 German Hill Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. All attendees must wear a mask and are asked to maintain social distancing.
