William E. Eckard

William (Billy) Earnest Eckard, aged 56, passed away on 3/16/2024, at Franklin Square Hospital. He was born 02/04/1968, in Baltimore, to Diann Eckard the late Charlie Eckard. He was a long time resident of Watersedge and was a 1986 graduate of Dundalk High School. He married Sara Doerr on August 5,1995 in Watersedge. He worked as a tractor trailer driver with Tilley Chemical. William was hard working. His family and hunting were his two biggest passions. William always had the ability to make anyone smile and laugh. He is survived by his wife, Sara; his sons Steven Charles and Scott Andrew; his mother Diann Eckard; an older brother, Tom Eckard; younger sisters Sue Eckard and Nancy Pollom; 2 in laws Beth and Stacy Peltzer and Sheri and Morgan Hairston and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family, friends, and others are invited to the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road Dundalk MD 21222, on Thursday from 3-7 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday evening at 6:30 pm to reminisce and honor the life of William.
