William "Bill" Sullivan

Sadly, we announce the passing of William L. Sullivan on December 27^th, 2021 at the age of 94.  Devoted and loving husband to Kay Sullivan.  Beloved father of William Sullivan (Gail), Patti Overdorf, Keith Sullivan, and Dawn Paul (Adam).  Dear stepfather to Burton (Annette) and Robin (Paul).  Survived by his grandchildren Brandon, Zachary, Adam, Macy, Olivia, Derek, Erica, Alissa, Brian, Desiree, and Kira.  He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Bill served his country in the Air Force and took part in the Berlin Airlift.  He also served his community as a well-respected member of the Boy Scouts of America.  Throughout his career with the BSA, Bill received multiple prestigious awards and honors.  He was a mentor, a leader, and instructor of Native American history.  He was a skilled craftsman and took pride in his woodcraft and LEGO collection which he shared with everyone he met.  With a gentle demeanor and a kind heart, Bill put others before himself in every situation.

Visitation will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk (7110 Sollers Point Rd., Dundalk, MD 21222) on Sunday, January 2^nd from 2pm – 6pm.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3^rd at 11am at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the service at Oaklawn Cemetery (7225 Eastern Ave., Baltimore, MD 21224).
